We’re now taking bookings for our next Green Man carving weekend, which will be held on the 1st/2nd November, 22nd/23rd November,10th/11th January, and 11th/12th April click here or click below to book (they always book up fast!)

The Green Man Weekend Course is £170 per person.

The Yorkshire Rose course is £ 70 per person

Foundation Class: new start dates – some places still available.

Helen will be teaching new Foundation Class groups. The class dates and times are:

Tuesday 14th October10am-1pm or 6pm -9pm

Thursday 16th October 10am-1pm or 6pm-9pm

Short Courses

All1 are welcome to try the ancient craft of traditional stone carving -we run several short courses, including carving a daisy, Yorkshire Rose, and a Green Man.

Foundation Course

Complete our 8-week introductory course. We will teach you basic competency in relief carving techniques, as well as safe workshop use.

£15 per session.

Students on this longer course are welcome to try the ancient craft of traditional stone carving – just hammer, chisel, stone and elbow-grease – at a FREE introductory session.

Membership

Membership is open to all adults with an interest in traditional stone carving and willing to support the aims of our Association. Membership fees are currently £25 a month for full use of the workshop, with access to further paid and free in-house courses, talks, visits and events.

All prospective members are required to take the Foundation course in preparation.
